Hosted by nationally touring comedian John Poveromo, Dystopia Tonight dares to ask the question: Is this too much? Are we hurtling through a dystopian nightmare, trapped in an endless, self-perpetuating whirlpool of clickbaity headlines, viral memes, and doomscroll-fueled chaos? A carnival of absurdity where every click feels like another nail in society’s coffin? Or is this the moment before we wake up, pull the plug, and rewrite the story — hoping someone remembered to hit record? Either way, welcome to Dystopia Tonight.

Tim Jacobus’ art is probably the most well known in the world and a part of every child’s youth if not their nightmares. As the artist for the Goosebumps series there isn’t a piece of cover art that won’t be imbedded in our brains until the end of time.
We discuss his humble beginnings as he always knew he wanted to illustrate book covers from the beginning, his first cover, how his style had developed, the advent of going digital, how he navigates his time and art based on an employers needs, who he admires, his favorite pieces and even dabbling into the wold of NFTs. This one was really a blast. Enjoy guys!
