Dystopia Tonight was born out of the Covid-19 Pandemic to give people a light-hearted break from the absurdity of the world around them by showcasing artists, comedians, musicians, and actors from all across the entertainment field and getting them to open up about what exactly they’ve been doing during this bizarre time in everyone’s lives. John asks about the state of their lives, careers, and well-being, while we all navigate through the current dystopia we’ve come to find ourselves living in.

Day 202 - Kris Perry - Executive Director of Children and Screens
Tuesday Oct 25, 2022
Tuesday Oct 25, 2022
I truly love guests like Kris Perry. Not that I’m picking favorites here but when you get the chance to speak with someone who’s as wildly intelligent and as passionate about a subject as Kris is you jump at the opportunity to have them on your show. I mean…first get a show. Then jump. You get it.
Kris Perry is the former advisor to Governor Gavin Newsom of California and Deputy Secretary of the California Health and Human Services Agency where she led the development of the California Master Plan for Early Learning and Care and the expansion of access to high-quality early childhood programs.
She is now the executive director of Children and Screens: Institute of Digital Media and Child Development! She joins me to discuss just that. It’s a really great talk and I learned a lot from having her on. Enjoy guys!

Wednesday Oct 19, 2022
Dr Katz joins us on Dystopia Tonight for one of my favorite eps of the year as he truly makes himself at home in the world of Dystopia. Answering questions that were never asked, getting us to admit to things we shouldn’t, contemplating the uncomtemplateable, while every so often giving a straight but hilarious answer to something I’m not sure I ever said and always regardless of context being insightful. This one was fun and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!
